Setting Up Savings Metrics

In order to track metrics such as time saved and SLA target percentage, some additional input is needed for each workflow.

Figure 5: Savings Metrics

Savings Metrics

  1. Open Automation Studio.

  2. Open the workflow you would like to track savings metrics for.

  3. Click the View metadata option from the stacked dots menu icon in the top-right.

  4. Set the Pre-Automation Time and SLA Per Workflow fields using the time wheel and click Save.

    Field Name Description
Pre-Automation Time The time it would take for the workflow to perform and complete its work without the use of IAP. For example, for a router upgrade workflow, how long it would take for a technician to manually upgrade a router?
SLA Per Workflow The maximum time the workflow should reasonably take to complete.
